Labor Day Hike

We headed south for the weekend to see Grandma and Grandpa and enjoy the beautiful weather. It has been miserably hot here so the prospect of 90 degree weather sealed the deal for our trip to Sierra Vista. Kev planned a little trip up Ramsey Canyon and it was perfect. The length of the hike was just right and the company was fabulous. Monsoon season in SV is the best. Everything is so green and alive and boy did we witness that on the mountain. Grandma Marti made the 1 mile hike along with Grandma Ralph and Steve. Ryley and Ben did really well and Olivia had a free ride, so who could complain. We saw a mama deer and her fawn and lots of butterflies. Thanks for the fun weekend!

Before the hike, waiting for Grandpa

Half way through the hike

Look at this amazing women, she broke her pelvis
in five places, just over a year ago

I've never seen Ben hold so still

Ryley can't resist the chance to pose like Ariel on a rock

Who can blame the sweet baby, I'd sleep to

How fun Katie! I had to laugh when you said, "the prospect of 90 degree weather sealed the deal..." Pretty sad when 90 degrees sounds appealing, huh? I know what you mean though. Kennedy told me yesterday, "it is REALLY cooling down here!" I had to laugh. Let's get together!

Looks like fun. My favorite pic is the one with Ben and the butterfly. Olivia is looking more like Ben everyday.
