Our Run of Luck: Cars

I'm trying to figure out which one wins: different houses we've lived in or cars we've owned. In the almost eight years that we've been married they are starting to add up. I thought it would be fun to write it down and some day look back on. Plus we just acquired a newer car and recently disposed of two. We sold one and one died and we're praying the Suburban can hold on a little bit longer.

It was a sad day, but Kevin finally decided to sell his beloved bus. He only toyed with this decision for a couple of years. The week before we moved he got serious and decided it wouldn't be so fun to drive in San Antonio (did I mention the humidity sucks). We didn't really think it would sell all that fast but we had it sold within a week and a half of putting it up on Craig's list.

So I'm going to try and give a run down of our many cars... Kev's 1993 Jeep Cherokee that was stolen, My 2000 Dodge Neon that my parents took over payments for, then the 1971 VW Bus that we flew to LA for, Maren's old 1991 Honda, then the 2001 Camry that we bought off eBay, then the 2005 Toyota Sienna that we sold five months later, Ralph and Marti's 1996 Suburban, Scott's 1993 Ford Escort and our newest addition is Kev's 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Oh, the story's behind them all, but I simply don't have the desire or patience to tell them now. Cars win, hands down.
