You ask where this is going... well the Easter Bunny came to our house on Friday night and the kids were ecstatic! We decided to do all that nonsense the day before Easter so that we could focus on the Savior and what He has done for each of us on Sunday. I have to admit it was really nice to get it all out of the way and not have the fight on Sunday morning before church.
Here are the kiddos after their basket and egg hunt.
Yes, the Easter Bunny even left a 'basket' for Steven.

Kevin's parents and younger brother, Steven, came into town for the Easter weekend. We had a fabulous time. It's crazy how wound up our kids get when their uncles are around, I love it! Plus Olivia was attached to Grandpa's hip all weekend, she sure likes him.
We took the kids to the zoo on Saturday and then just relaxed the rest of the weekend. Kevin and his parents all made it to church Sunday morning and enjoyed the Easter messages. I had had only 3 hours of sleep and decided a three hour nap was a must in order to keep my sanity. I was really sad to miss Easter Sunday, it is my favorite Sunday of the year but what can you do.
Here we are aboard the Zoo Train. It was a fabulous little train ride that the kids loved, especially Benjamin.
Grandma was so kind and bought the kids Easter outfits.
(Olivia didn't want to give up her pacifier for the picture.)
Here is Ethan after his first bath. His belly button finally
fell off and he got a nice warm bath for Easter.

I love Ethan's little hairdo. He looks so big already. Your kids look so cute in their Easter outfits. I feel like Olivia has grown the most since we haven't seen her for over a year.
Oh my gosh, Ethan is so cute! Well done...
I love the zoo! Like, all of them. Even the Tucson zoo was cool.
Looks like a nice Easter! I am glad to hear that you let your kids "have a childhood" lol you're too funny Katie.
When we figure out the pricing issues I'll have to tell you all about how our dentist trip ended up going. We went with the full anesthesia and Wesly's teeth look great, but they sent us a bill saying we owe more, and we think they owe us...I'm glad we talked or I may have just paid them! YIKES!!!
PS CONGRATS, Ethan is adorable!
Don't spoil Santa Katie. You can spoil the other ones, but seriously, you have to give your kids that. Oh and refer to my Easter blog post about why your should let your kids just have their Easter baskets.
They are all so adorable in their Easter outfits. I love Ryley's little post with her foot "popped" and Ben's cute serious face. Olivia is cute doing a little princess curtsey.
Oh and I don't find out the gended until the 28th. We can't wait either!
Katie, those are all darling pictures, but especially of Ethan! He's a good looking little lad! It (almost) makes me want a baby!
I didn't even see that you updated! I promise I am not ignoring you.
Oh boy what to say about those pictures. Ben says he is surprised at how long Lil Ben's hair is - what a handsome little man. Your girls are sure growing into themselves and their personalities. Well I guess Ryley was born with her personality but I am loving how much Olivia is getting her own.
You look good and happy on that train! I was wondering where Ethan was and then I saw a white bundle - glad you didn't leave him at home with Tilly. And yes Katie you need to quit being humbug and live up those little holiday traditions!
I'm with you on the Bah humbug aspect! :) I love making Easter Sunday about the Savior and NOT the Easter Bunny! We started a tradition out here with all the cousins where we have an Easter egg hunt the next day for Family home evening...and the best part is that if you go to Target/Walmart, etc. that morning you get all the Easter stuff on SALE!!!! :)
You are a ba hum bug! Good thing for Kevin. I just know Meg is going to figure it out, I know she will be so disapointed, then realize what a liar I have been, then I will really have to make it up to her! Ethan is the cutest little bug! And Olivia's paci? She must love it!
Yeah, Dawn will just have to BUY Megan something to make up for all the years of lying. And I wouldn't really call you a scrooge. This is the first year we're even doing a birthday party for my kid and she's almost 4. Holidays are overrated.
Your kids are darling. They look so cute in their Easter clothes. Little Ethan is just adorable. I am so jealous of the hair. That's just unfair. Oh well. Hope you guys are doing great!!
