This was the first of 12 planes |
Kev was the 5th one out on the right of the plane |
If you look close you can see 3 planes dropping all at once |
They had just got to the ground when the next 3 planes of soldiers starting coming to the ground |
The kids kept yelling, "Look at all the jellyfish!" |
They only jumped 6 of the 12 planes because the winds got really bad and soldiers were landing in the trees. We didn't get to meet up with Kev after (the kids really wanted to see him in all his get-up) because they weren't letting civilians in to watch the jump. So I just pulled off the road, stopped on top of the drop zone, under the trees and let the kids watch. Don't worry there were four other wives right there with me. It really was fun to know Kev was up there jumping and I'm sure he was loving every minute of it.

Ok, these pics are sweet! You weren't kidding when you were saying that they jump one out basically on top of each other. I love the whole jellyfish comment.
Great pictures! How fun to see Dad in action. I thought the same thing about the jellyfish. Miss you all so much. Are you getting ready for AZ?
That is awesome! Love the pictures!
Geez, that plane dropped a LOT of soldiers! Crazy! That looks like fun, though. People pay big money to do that for recreation! Although the night drop doesn't sound like quite as much fun.
That's just how it is at Jump School. How fun! Kev's a smart cat...he'll be okay.
Love you guys. Can't wait to see you next month!
Airborne!
That is SO cool. I totally want to do that some day.
Hey kevin. All the way. Never thought of the chutes as jellyfish. I like that.
Crazy cool!
