Man to Man vs. Zone

It's official that once you're out numbered children to parents that zone defense is your only option. I've been playing man to man for only two days, and I'm ready to throw in the towel. Kev's off on another Army training, Alabama for two weeks, so that makes me the full time parent. As if I wasn't sleep deprived enough... Ryley has made sure of it. Since Saturday night she's been up either in the middle of the night, in a screaming fit, or at 5:30am ready to start her day. I've tried doing the nice mom, what can I do to appease you, to the not so nice, screaming mom, and yet she is not phased. This child may be the end of me. I ask myself, how is it that I have a 2 month old that will sleep for seven hours and my almost 4yr old still won't sleep through the night on a regular bases. I truly do love being a mom and I love my Ryley. But in order to restore the sanity I need help... so come home soon Kev, I need you!

Maybe we'll go to Grandma's for a couple of days. Uncle Steve is always a fun playmate for the kids.

YAY! I am so glad you're blogging! It seems like I've gotten to know Dave much better through Lacy's eyes (and Lacy, too), so it will be really good to hear from you, Katie! I can link to you, right? And we would LOOOOOOVE to have you guys this summer! We have two bedrooms and two bathrooms you can use and a town & ranch full of fun stuff to do in the summer (not to mention Yellowstone Park less than an hour south). So y'all come up to Casa Melin whenever you get teh chance! PS: Livi is soooo cute--I have a little something to mail to you for her, but I keep not gettin to the P.O....it's coming! Congratulations on having another cute girl!
