So I decided it was time for my maiden voyage with all three kids by myself. It's amazing what sure desperation will do to a person. We headed south to Grandma Marti's for a couple of days and oh was it fun! The weather was absolutely horrible but it made for some good inside fun. Plus we got to meet little Penelope, hang with cousin Morgan and I actually got a nap! Thanks so much Marti, Ryley sure enjoyed playing with someone other than her boring mom.

Ryley & Grandma's bird house

It is always an adventure when we're at Grandmas. Ryley insists on baking something, this time it was delicious cinnamon rolls, a.k.a sticky buns. And she must paint, this time it was the bird house and many pictures, plus they made puppets. Ryley gets the attention she needs and I get a little bit of a break. Sometimes I wonder why we ever leave Grandma's house.

Hooray for Grandmas! I am so gald you have wonderful in-laws like I have, Kate--aren't they THE BEST! My mom-in-law constantly amazes me with her energy, adn when I told her so, and asked why she, at 60, has more energy than me at 30-something, she gave a wry smileand said, "I get to SLEEP every night!" Goos point, but I have my suspicons that she was alway just way more fun and creative than I am! :) These are great pix, and I so excited to meet those three adorabel Mayberry/allred girls!!! Hugs to all you cuties...
