Easter Weekend

So this weekend was a joyous one. We got to see friends and family, enjoy the beautiful weather and celebrate Easter. Friday started out with a trip to the Reid Park Zoo.

Then bright and early Saturday morning we headed to Tempe for the Pat Tillman Run. I walked again this year and my brother Ben joined in the 3rd Annual Mayberry run. Kev ran with his brothers and so Ben stayed behind to help with the little ones.

It was quite enjoyable and I was completely sore the next two days. It's always nice to realize how out of shape you are. We had a fabulous little BBQ with the Mayberry's afterwards and then headed home.

Kev and I have stunk at all the holiday hoopla the last couple of years but now that the kids are getting older we've decided it is time to participate. So we did a little Easter egg and basket hunt and then enjoyed a lovely day at church.

We we're silly and missed the family dinner that night because we had invited over our non-member friends, which was delightful. I can't beleive it is already April, the year is going by way to fast!
