Need A Glue Stick?
Ryley has been on a streak of tattling and it has been difficult to teach her when it is appropriate. I've tried to explain that I don't need to know about every little thing Ben does and that the only time to tell on someone is if they are doing something that may harm them or others. Well Ryley came through for me the other day. I was in the bedrooms putting laundry away when Ryley burst in and yelled, "Mom, Ben just used the glue stick for chap stick and it's all over his lips!" In all of her drama I had to reassure her that he would be okay and that we could simply wipe it off. Ben was very upset that I had to wipe off his "chap stick". The photo is his show of refusal that it had to come off.

Ben comes up with a winning idea! I often find myself without chapstick and now I know where to turn!
pretty cute kids. That expression on Ryley's face is priceless. And poor Ben... He might have found the solution for a quieter home, but alas, mom had to take that away. :) haha.
I am stil chuckling... Oh,Benner, I know that the glue is sented was that what made him want to try it as chap stick?? Any way I remember these type of situations very well. Always uplifting..
