Like most people I've been a little Scrooge like about the 'holidays' that require any type of participation. Then I realized that it's not about me. I can never remember my mom being grumpy
(or a t least showing it to us kids) about any holiday celebration, in fact she seemed to always encourage our participation. So I'm going to try and turn over a new leaf and be happy, for my children's sake, at all the "fun" holiday activities. On that note here are pics of the Halloween celebrations we attended.
Ryley posing before her school party,
and yes her eyes are flash crazy again
Ryley got her RED Ariel hair when we went to
trunk r' treat with the Thornhill's (thanks Rachelle)
This is Ben saying, "Batman to the rescue!"
So with two trunk r' treats and a school party we are ready to retire the costumes for play time. They still think that if they put them on then they can ask for candy. One thing I did realize this year is that one of my favorite smells is that of candy inside a plastic pumpkin.

The kids look cute! I've never seen Ryley's hair curled before and think it looks great. I always have my eyes closed in every picture too.
Oh and...Tag...You're it! See my blog for instructions!
The kids look adorable in their costumes! I'm glad you got to out and are starting soccer. It will be so much fun!
You are really going to have your hands full when those two girls of yours get older. Do you see the sass in Ryley? Ben is going to have to for sure learn Batman Ninja moves to protect his sis. If she is half as crazy as her mom we are all in for a wild ride. (Hint: remember sneaking you outfit out of the house to chnage at school, or late night Denny's runs. Hmmm...I wonder if the whole I hope you have one just like you was meant for occassions like this. That is why we are never having kids. I truly fear having to raise a child like me.)
I remember those outfit changes and Denny's. Do you remember the flying pickles? Anyways, cute kids. We had a little frog a few years ago. And I think Ariel is the only princess costume we don't have...
Did you ever fill out an application?
