Kev and I have learned that stuff at these venues are ridiculously priced, way worse than a baseball game. They had everything imaginable that had a princess slapped on the side of it, along with a hefty price tag. I prepared myself before we went in knowing Ryley would want everything. I can be a little weak at times and my back up was at home with the other two. So we made it out without a nonsense purchase, unless you include the $4 ice cream cone, and a promise to buy Ryley something that wasn't over priced.

Princesses On Ice
Every time I see the commercial for the Disney: Princesses on Ice, I get a little excited, knowing how much Ryley would love it. Much like her mother did, she has a love for The Little Mermaid. (Okay maybe I still have it) Now that Ryley is getting older I try to go on dates with her and we happened to get tickets for last night's show. Needless to say we had a fabulous time. Ryley went in her Cinderella attire and there was loads of other princess crap at the show.

I must admit that I get a little excited seeing the commercials too! Sounds like a fun time for a mommy-daughter date! I'm sure it created a great memory for her.
That is great that you do that with Ryley. I went to a show like that once with my aunt. It was fun. I bet Ryley had a blast and I bet it was fun just to watch her and hang out together.
I've always wanted to go to Disney on Ice...can't figure out why Nate never wants to go:)
We did that a few years ago with Megan. I'm pretty sure we left with something we paid too much for, but not as bad as Tom when he took her back later, I know he spent a small fortune on Jasmine, she was the only princess barbie there that we didn't have. It could have been worse if she was batting those eyelashes at daddy.
