I've learned that when your children are quiet something is wrong. They're usually doing something they shouldn't.
I was trying to get my kitchen cleaned the other day and had put on cartoons for Ben and Olivia. (Ryley was at school) I can't see the front room from the kitchen so I had checked on them every once in a while to make sure Ben wasn't on the fireplace mantel or Olivia and escaped out the front door. Next thing I know Olivia brings me a hand full of treats. I realized that she was probably do for a snack and had hoped she found something in the diaper bag. Thinking it was probably just a granola bar I was content to let her do her thing until I got a closer look. She had gotten into Tilly's dog treats and was chowing down. My first thought was that there was no way this child would put the fowl smelling thing in her mouth, then I smelled her tongue and was surely proven wrong. I gagged at the smell and thought and forced a chocolate chip cookie and juice down her. Then I sent Kev a text asking if I should be worried. He, of course, was not concerned and just told me to watch her for vomiting. I then thought about calling poison control and in my moment of deliberation I sought the back of the package to see if there might me something harmful in them. I was reassured when it read All Natural, No Artificial Colors, Flavors or Preservatives. Sole Ingredient: Beef Lung
Needless to say she was completely fine and I have since put all dog treats out of her reach.

that's so disgusting....and smells are so much worse while pregant....yuck!
am i really ready for this whole "kid" thing?
If dogs can eat it, why can't kids? I wouldn't have given it a second thought! Yum!
THAT is hilarious! Beef lung anyone? I think I ate some of that in a weird soup in Canada once.
Even if it wasn't all natural, I wouldn't be worried unless it was medicated or something. I've tasted dog food before, and I'm...well, that's probably not very comforting. Although I've even fed cat food to Nikki, and...okay, bad examples. I'm sure there are some normal people that have eated animal fodder somewhere.
I ate some dog food when I was little and staying the night at cousin Mike's when we lived at the Smokerise house. The difference was that I had one bite and that was nasty enough! Isaac is so picky with his food that if we find something he will eat...it's on the menu, even dog food!=)Ha
Thats pretty much disgusting. At least your dog likes treats. Paisley will not really eat anything other than Beggin Strips. And that reminds me that you need to post a picture of Tilly. I want to see how big she is.
