Ryley came home from school the other day with a bloody, wet paper towel hanging from her mouth. Not to mention a huge grin on her face. When I asked her what had happened she explained... A boy in her class had pulled his tooth out during circle time. He got to go to the nurses office and came back with a cool little treasure chest. Ryley just had to have one so she worked one of her loose teeth over until it came out. Needless to say she got her pink treasure chest and has lost her second tooth.
She has three more that are loose and tries everyday to get them out. The tooth fairy was a little too generous with the amount of money she left for her first tooth (I think she was a little excited about the loss of a first tooth, that she forgot there were plenty more to follow). The poor fairy is going to go broke trying to keep up with her!

That's too cute. Are you sure she is old enough for missing teeth?? Wow, she's growing so fast.

It rocks my world to think that you have a child old enough to be losing her teeth....
Way to go Ryley!!! You are really getting big. I hope that we can have fun when I come to visit you. Do you have an Indoor swimming pool? Is ther a place where we can go for long walksand see cool stuff? Congrats on loosing another tooth. Katie, you are adorable and I know these next few weeks are going to drag a bit but then they always do. Smile it will be over soon.HUGS!
wow, that's pretty impressive! I don't think I've ever caused my self pain on purpose! Good job Ryley!
I totally did this when I was younger. At least she'll wiggle them out on her own instead of just letting them dangle and get infected and nasty like some kids do. Sorry that I never called you back. I really just forgot. Do you still need help with that? My advice would definitely be a second opinion. Feel free to send me some copies of x-rays and I can give you my 2 cents. Usually if a child has that many caivities, you're going to be able to visually see them because there are only 20 baby teeth and only 8 of them are molars so that would have to mean that there is decay right on the front teeth. She should definitely get a second opinion. Call me if you have any more questions.
Isaac is so jealous. He keeps asking me when he will lose teeth.
It is hard to believe that Ryley is loosing teeth. I guess that just means braces will come a lot sooner. That will not be fun. Ryley you are cute and I can hardly wait to see you next month. Try not to loose any more teeth before then. Love grandma miller
