Who needs sleep?

Our sweet little, soon to be 5 year old has issues sleeping through the night. There are even a few of you that have had the distinct pleasure of witnessing this first hand! A conclusion was finally made that this is not normal and Ryley was sent to the sleep lab for some tests.

Kevin and her headed off for the "adventure" last night. Ryley did really well for being all monitored up. The results should be back in a week or two, and we pray that soon we'll all get a goodnights rest.

That is pitiful! I hope there is an answer to what is going on. You think of how horrible it is for you to be up with her, but I bet her poor little mind and body are tired as well. Good luck and thanks for my invite to visit you!

As Elaine would sing...

"Get well, get well soon, we want you to get well. Get well, get well soon." and so on and so forth.

Here's hopin' nothing's wrong and it's just a phase. A kinda long phase.

Don't you hope that there will be some sort of diagnosis? That's how I feel when one of my kids is not sleeping or fussy. When I take them to the doctor i don't want to hear that they are in perfect health. I want there to be a valid reason as to why they are having issues. I sure hope something help her. It can't be fun for you or her. Good luck.

I would have that kid on tranquilizers by now, so you are doing a good job! It looks a little disturbing, though.

Wow! I never even thought of a kid having REAL sleep problems. I would have just thought they were going through a phase. But, I guess it's been a long one, huh? I hope they can give you some answers (or medication:). Let us knwo what happens.

My poor Ryley. I know that she has anxiety issues and I hope she would grow out of them. Hers to you Ryley. I love you so much and I hope that you will soon sleep peacefully soon. As for Dad and Mom I hope you will sleep peacefully soon also. You still have Ben and Livy. Who knows what phase they will get into.:) Mom

This has been a really long phase. Ryley has always been a horrible sleeper but it has only gotten worse not better. She's up at least once if not twice a night, going on 5 months now. Before it was at least three nights a week.
