Thanksgiving and a birthday

As usual I'm a little behind on my posts, but what can you do. This was our first Thanksgiving that we have ever hosted and it turned out fabulously, thanks to our company. Our guests included my brother's, their sweet wife's and my newest niece. Our friend Sandy and her cute son also joined us. We had a great time just handing out. We went to the movies, ate some yummy food, played no running- left handed- two hand touch football, ate some more yummy food and went shopping. It was great to have everyone here and were really sad when it was time for everyone to go home. Oh, and I also turned 29 over the Thanksgiving holiday.

This is Kevin and Uncle Ben entertaining the kids while
the other adults were cooking in the kitchen.

My first Turkey, it was so yummy! Thanks to Lori's recipe.

The spread of food... plus we had five pies and a jello salad.

We went shopping in this little town, Southern Pines.
If you notice 'someone' insisted in being in every picture.

Here are the two cute babies!

Tilly even had a friend come and play.

And we can't wait for more naps and snuggle time in 2 days! I love the picture of the two babies. We promise their cousins even though you can't tell. That picture of Pais is priceless! She's thinking - "let me in right now or I'm going to box Tilly".

Even though I just ate, I'm hungry again. Thanks a lot.

I'm glad that you guys had a fun holiday. Sorry I missed it! Someday I'll come visit, I'm sure.

Happy birthday, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Glad you are close enough to some family to enjoy the holidays with them.

Awww, Southern Pines! I lived there the last 4 months of my mission. Is the Sundry Shoppe still there, with the soda fountain? I wish we could come visit! Oh, man, are you gonna love the spring! Azaleas, dogwoods, flowers everywhere and great weather. Stock up on your Claritin because you won't believe the pine pollen! We had to use a snow brush to brush off our mission car!
